Macmillan cancer launches a website of thanks

Macmillan cancer has recently launched The Biggest Thank You to celebrate a centenary in 2011. The website will give users the chance to thank anyone who has supported during their illness.

Ciarán Devane, chief executive of Macmillan Cancer Support, says; “Thank you is one of the most important things people affected by cancer want to say to their loved ones.

Macmillan Cancer The Biggest Thank You

“To celebrate our centenary we’ve created the Biggest Thank You website. It gives people affected by cancer a place to come together and thank those who are special to them and helped during their cancer experience. It could be a loved one, a nurse or a friend. It is a fantastic and personal way to remind them how much they matter.

“During our centenary I also want to say a big thank you to all our volunteers, partners, supporters and colleagues who have helped us achieve so much and will continue to help us going forward for the years to come.”

Anyone who wants to post their own messages of thanks can do so at
