BT launched a new charity website

BT is the latest to join the charity trend and launched their own website MyDonate with a difference that the entire donation will be given to charities. BT has described it as something “that the charitable sector wants, making it the first not-for-profit fundraising service not to charge a subscription fee, set-up fee or commission”.

There are no middle men nor do they take commissions: just a full donation to the chosen charity.

TV presenter, adventurer and writer Ben Fogle is a fan of MyDonate:

BT MyDonate

“…if, like me, you do lots of fundraising, one of the things that bugs me is when some of the money I raise is spent on administration or commission rather than going to the good cause.

That’s why MyDonate is such a good idea.  MyDonate – the new free online fundraising service from BT – means that 100 per cent of all the money I raise can go direct to charity (excluding credit/debit card charges).

It’s the first not-for-profit service not to charge a subscription fee, set-up fee or take commission. That means charities will receive more money.”

Visit MyDonate if you want to start a fundraising, sponsor a fundraiser or just simply make a donation to dozens of charities available.
