Charity Navigator: An evaluator of 5000 of American charities

There is a great website for the Americans if they have trouble choosing charities or causes to work towards. Charity Navigator is a great website which evaluates 5,000 of America’s best-known charities and their financial health. It concentrates on two major factors of how they evaluate a charity’s financial situation: “how responsibly it functions day to day as well as how well positioned it is to sustain its programs over time”.

Charity NavigatorCharity Navigator has been voted and nominated for various awards such as the TIME magazine “One of America’s 50 Coolest Websites for 2006”, PC World voted it as “One of America’s Top Websites” and it has gained high praise by powerful media companies such as CNN, ABC’s Good Morning Show, Fox News, CNBC, to name but a few.

  1. i really like Charity Navigator. i recommend CN to all my friends, and posted links to their site in a blog post i wrote after the Japan earthquake and tsunami. i wish more people knew about this awesome site. thanks for getting the word out!
